Non-EU/EEA: Apply for Residence Permit for Higher Education via SIRI (Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration) using the ST1 application form. Biometrics at VFS/embassy. Processing: 2–3 months. EU: register at Statsforvaltningen if staying >3 months.
Proof of DKK 6,397/month (DKK 76,764/year, 2024 rate) living funds via bank statement, scholarship letter, or deposit. Must be shown as first-year amount at application time.
Non-EU: 20 hours/week during term, 37 hours/week in June–August (full-time). EU: full work rights. Minimum wage not legislated (~DKK 110–130/hour entry-level via collective agreements).
Establishment Card: 6-month job-seeker residence permit after graduation. Pay Limit Scheme (Beløbsordningen) offers work permit if salary > DKK 465,000/year (2024). Positive List for shortage occupations.
